convict cichlids in brackish water ?
hi i'm slowly converting my tank from fresh to saltwater at this point i'm at 1.014 sg and there is 3 convict cichlids and one green scat i know the scat can live in full marine but what about the cichlids should i give them away or just see if they acclimate so far they all seem happy
They can live in brackish water for a short period of time but NOT full marine, it will kill them
10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)
75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.
220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)
