brackish set-up

I just bought a 37 gallon (30"w 12"d 22"h) with a LED hood and want to set it up brackish. My question are:
Would crushed coral or regular gravel be better?
Is live rock a good addition?
Should I use a protein skimmer?
If I want fish like mollies, gobies, and maybe a puffer, do I need to gradually increase salinity?

Thanks for any advice!

don't know which substrate would be better, but crushed coral will affect your ph and gravel won't. Live rock will require allot of light so im not sure your led hood will be sufficient. a protien skimmer should only be needed for live rock and coral. molly should be slowly acclimated to brackish water so yes gradual increases is how i would do it.

Great, thankyou.
I suppose I should check all the pH requirements for the fish I'd like before I decide on a substrate. Are there many inverts that do well in brackish?

Any inverts you put with a puffer will be consumed.
