Update on Saltwater Tank

I was wanting to go to the LFS to get either more LR or perhaps a small frag of pulsing xenia if my tests came back that my tank has cycled. The last time I tested the water the nitrites were at .25. I tested again today and they are still at .25. I'm wondering if some tap water might still have been in the tube so I'm going to re-do the nitrite test and also do a nitrate test. The nitrates were at 20 last time I did the test.

I got the algae under control. Now its just a matter of getting the tank cycled. Its been up and running for almost 5 weeks now.

The nitrate test is definitely different. It was 20 last time and this time it is at 40.

Oh and I think that little clear bug I found earlier is actually a copepod or isopod. I looked at pictures and they look similar. And now I have three of the little buggers in the tank.

The nitrites still say .25. Would this be correct if the nitrates have doubled? I have done a 2g water change and plan on doing another 1g water change before going up to the LFS for more saltwater. And then I'll do another 2g water change when I get home.
