Exclamation need advice

i have a 29 gallon tank. 60 pounds/4 inches of cribsea arag-alive. i also have a aqua clear 30 that pumps 175 gallons per hour and a top fin 30 fresh water filter with pad filter. i have a heater and lights. the tank has been running for about a week.

salinity- 1.021
nitrate- 0
nitrite- 0
ammonia- 0- .25
pH- 8.0- 8.2
alkalinity- 3.5
calcium- 350mg/1

i need all the help i can get now. i do not have live rock. when should i get live rock? when should i get fish? when and what kind of CHEAP BUT STILL GOOD protein skimmer?

Check out EBAY for protein skimmers, alot of decent ones that would do fine for your size tank

okay.... i got a protein skimmer today.. where do i go from here? are all of my test okay?

What skimmer did you purchase? As for live rock, it is normally added from the beginning, so the sooner the better.

How long has the tank been set up and what livestock do you have now? I can't comment on the test results yet, without more background.

i got the one you told me to get expect at a local pet store. i do not have any live stock yet. all i have is live sand. it has been running for a week.

add the live rock immediately and wait for a month for the nitrogen cycle to complete. add shrimp to speed up the process. use live sand for substrate.

Again, WHAT BRAND and model of skimmer? There were several suggested above.
