Mystery purple frag

I found this frag in the sand of a tank I recently bought off of craigslist. Does anybody know what it is? This is pretty much as large as he gets.

Looks like acropora to me. That's a nice find :) Placement: low/medium, light: moderate/high. Is it "hard" if it's soft, it is something else.

Just because animals can't talk, does not mean they should not be heard

It's not hard like a rock, but it is isn't as squishy as the frogspawn tendrils. It waves with the current and seems to change size occasionally.

Then I'm going with Kenya Tree coral.
