Now you know why we don't tell people to put fish in right away. The Cycling process of the tank usually kills them. No, you do not need to find them, you probably won't be able to, the bristleworms probably did their job already. The now dead fish, will create the ammonia needed to keep the tank in the cycle process, and will probably eleveate it, so that you will be more than ready to add fish in 6 weeks. The algae will not go away by itself, the Brown Algae will, those are Diatoms. You will need to add a clean up crew to take care of the green algae, this will consist of varies snails and possibly hermits. But these yoiu can't add until the cycle is finished also, or these to stand a chance of dying.
