If you only have fish or soft corals, then you don't need to dose. If you are keeping LPS, watch the #'s and gauge you dosing. If you are keeping SPS, then you will need to watch this more closely. If you only keep a handful of SPS and LPS, then with routine waterchanges, it'll replinish these missing elements. If you keep quite a bit or a lot of SPS and LPS then you'll need to dose more often. Always watch your #'s before dosing.
