algae problem help marine

i have had my tank set up for about 4 months im am still geting a brown algae all over my live rock and sand and glass im cleaning my glass 3 times a day at the mo and my sand 2 times it is starting to get down now can sombody help

Well it sounds like you are having a normal algea bloom for a new tank. I would check your parameters. It sounds like your Nitrates are alittle high? I would increase the size of your clean up crew extra Cerith and Nerite snails. Both of these Janitors do a great job of eating Diatom algae (brown algea). also Nass. snails.

post water parameters would help.
