If anyone remembers I've asked this in previous threads.
My tank is 44g, with a 15 watt 6700k light T8. I have 4 valls, 2 swords, a ton of crypt wendii, some java moss, java fern, and an anubias, as well as a dwarf lily and a red tiger lotus that is SLOWLY COMING BACK FROM THE GRAVE. :D (can't wait for it to get larger.)
Well anyways, I asked before and got some mixed answers. Byron said to wait and see how things grow and that it should be enough. A few people said 15 watts wouldn't even be enough to grow plants. Well, the latter was wrong... they are growing... slowly...
Anyways, last night, I was fishing out a otto that didn't make it in my fish tank (day after I bought it :() and I had moved my lid a bit inward toward the front of the tank so the light was shining near the front of the tank. I have to keep it in the back so it shines on the vallesneria at least a bit. But, anyways, I noticed how beautiful my fish actually were since often they are in the front top which is pretty dark.
Anyways, I kind of just wanted to test out adding another 15 Watt fixture to my tank and see how it does.
Would this be completely asking for trouble or do you think I could manage it?
