In order to trim Java moss, do I just grab a scissors and just snip away the bits i dont want? I'll probably try to just leave it on the ground instead of a moss wall. Also, for wisteria, wwhere to I snip off to let it float? Tou said to cut off the top parts and let those float but do I cut right underneath the leaf or do i leave some parts of the stem and if so, how much do i leave?

The place where the leaves come out from the stem is called a node.

I would cut it below the second node from the top. You can cut it under the first node (Just cut the stem between sets of leaves)

When you cut it, the stem will float horizontally and the leaves will grow up towards the light. Really depends on how big of a floating plant you want.
