Wisteria growing different leaves
I've had two stems of Wisteria in my tank for about 7-8 weeks. It looks healthy and has grown some since I put it in. 3 days ago 6 leaves sprouted from the top that are completely different from the rest. They have no special shape, just look like regular everyday leaves. Is this normal?
Consider the needs of your fish before acting on your desires.
This is explained in our profile of this plant. In brief, it is due to light, nutrients, and/or temperature--any one or combination of these.

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
