Yes, Kym's link is the plant, there are nice photos there. I bought my small plant in a local fish store, I've never noticed it before but then I wasn't looking. I just happened to be in the store talking with the owner one day and he mentioned Amazon Frogbit, and I asked what it was, and he had one plant that looked like it was near death but I bought it, and now I have it in 3 tanks and am chucking out handfuls every week.
On that note, I could mail you some. I mailed some plants twice to another member in Texas last summer, they arrived and are doing fine he says. It would probably cost me about $9 to mail it, and then it might or might not get through US Customs; the two to Texas did, but US Agriculture is very strict on plants, so no guarantee. Cheaper through the Aquabid, but let me know.
Thanks, and yes Byron I'd love to buy some of yours. I'll PM you my address and we'll figure out the cost (and the risk is noted...we'll keep our fingers crossed). If it doesn't work out I'll try aquabid.
I was gonna suggest, ask around here, there's several members who have it in their tank but at the grow rate to keep some surface area open I read more then once how they throw it away....so get connected people - Exchange plants don't toss them
