no worries.
i have to say that not everyone is green fingered,so don't panic
if the plants don't go right the first time round.
i stuck to plastic and silk for years,and even now i use a combination.
anyway you'll probably be just fine, enjoy your shopping. :D

One floating plant that I have found to be great is water sprite. Before I had anything special for plants it grew somewhat. After I started fertilizing, added Co2, and upgraded my lighting they exploded everywhere! I get all kinds of free stuff from the fish store now :D
