Yes, mixing incandescent bulbs creates a divided hue which will look odd and you may have different plant response, algae issues with one or the other, etc. Combining full-length tubes works because the different light is diffused full length of the tank.

You can get those GE bulbs in hardware stores for a few dollars.

I don't have a wal-mart anywhere near me, if I can convince my mom I will try to get her to drive me up to wal-mart but it takes an hour to get there, this is like the only place that doesn't have one close by XD, ok so no mixing the bulbs, do you think the GE bulbs will fit?

40 gallon with 13 hermit crabs- 11 PPs, 1 E, 1 Straw
25 Gallon
~2 Dwarf Puffer- Sidney and Cairo, 4 Amano Shrimp, 4 Blue Pearl Shrimp, 4 Yellow Cherry Shrimp, 2 Mandarin Cherry Shrimp, Too many RCS, 4 Crystal Red Shrimp, 4- Otos

5 gallon
~White/Teal/Red Betta- Phantom, Snails

25 Gallon
~Leopard Gecko- Desert Rose

They should, if you get the ones I pictured and your tank hood fixture is normal. Maybe take it with you to try.
