I reasently bought a few new fish and some of these tiny floating plants where in the bag with them, So I put them one of my 10 gallon tanks with the fish. And now they are multiplying like crazy:shock:! What are they, is it some kind of algae?
Yep Duckweed! It will soon take over the whole top of the tank. LoL I use to have it in my tank but got tired of constantly having to take a lot out ever week during water changes. Its nothing bad and some fish like eating it.
Amazing, this Duckweed little floating plant is looking very nice and exciting to me. Actually, I had grow so much vegetation before but never seen this type of any plant. Nice to see the image of it.
