What should I watch out for with this CO2 system

I bought this co2 system which is rated for up to a 40 gallon. I have a 55 gallon.
I wanted to try to prevent overdoing the CO2, and keep the PH somewhat steady without as much work, time, and money. Figured it would help the plant growth with some rather than none. My lighting is 2x65w 6700k bulbs. I know that isn't an excessive amount of light which is another reason I figured I wouldn't need as much co2.

Does anyone have an opinion on what I should be concerned about with this system? I have about 30 plants in the tank now, and have not added any fish yet. I want to make sure the conditions are optimal first to prevent any stress if the conditions need to be changed. Thanks

As long as you make sure you KH is at least 3dKH or 50 ppm it could work fine. Be aware that these systems slowly peeter out and it can be hard to tell when they need to be replenished. To be honest I think a couple of 2 liter bottles instead of the refills using the same powerhead will give you much more reliable CO2 levels.
