What's your favorite foreground plant

I've decided to get into planted tanks, and will carpet my ten gallon "learning tank" What is the best one for the job and why?
I'll be using Flourite substrate, a 96, 6700°K watt CF light, and will be using this CO2 unit: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113779

-Chain Sword
-Java moss
-Dwarf Hairgrass
-Glossostigma

eleocharis
dwarf hairgrass, because it is easy to maintain, and it looks like an aquatic lawn- and it doesnt mind being trimmed.
just click the picture and it should take you to a larger picture.

java moss, very very easy to take care of, good to hide fry and as spawning substrate, will carpet, easily grown, doesnt need much light or CO2. Barely a chance any fish will eat it.

Would the planned setup that I have be ok to get that lawn look using the hairgrass?

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

Take your choice, with 96 watts over a 10 gallon you can grow anything! Including tons of algae. Make sure your CO2 levels are over 30ppm at all times and make sure your plants have all the nutrients they need. You will likely see your nitrates bottom out in days if you don't dose as well as most of the rest of the nutrients the plants need.

With that lighting you can do Glasso, Hemianthus Callitrichoides (HC), dwarf hairgrass, and pretty much anything else and all of them should stay low because the light will keep them low.

I would really like to see a diary of this tank when you get it started.

I would also consider getting a pressurized system but you might get along with the other unit for a while. Just make sure the levels are 30-50ppm and stay above 30ppm.

Now if it isn't 96 watts then ignore me, ;).
