My boyfriend brought some plant home, and said it was a "banana plant". Thats just what it looks like, the bottom of it looks like a bunch of green bananas, and then there are a few leaves on top.
The other day it started sending up shoots, there are 4 in there now, they grow so fast all the way to the top of the tank (20 long) in less than a day! Then once it hits the top of the water a leaf opens.
I just wanted to make sure this plant was safe for the aquarium. I have 2 cories in it, 1 beta, 2 black mollies and 2 baby fry black mollies, 2 blood fin, 2 tetras.
My boyfriend used to have aquariums for a hobby before he met me. He "thinks" he knows alot about them, but after doing alot of research he has been very very wrong about alot of stuff lol. I don't want to hurt his feelings, but we lost alot of fish before I started reading up on stuff, and I just like to double check on things.
Thanks in advance!
