What is this plant?

I bought this plant at Petco thinking it was so pretty. It had no name on it and when I got it home the only thing I noticed on it was a tag that said "For terrerriums". Hmmm. Would it be okay to put this in my tank (5 gallon for 1 betta - still fishless cycling it at present). Thanks!

im not sure what the plant is, but generally speaking if it is self supporting it isnt usually fully aquatic.

the leaves also look like theyre wax coated which indicates that they are made to hold in water.

its a good idea to search online plants you like prior to going to a store to buy them so you know what your looking for, if you can meet its needs, and if its fully aquatic.

if infact it isnt a fully aquatic plant it will rot away underwater. atleast you'll have a nice little plant for your desk

It looks like it belongs in a plant pot on a windowsill.

Your plant looks to be a variation of a dracaena species. Not suited for aquarium use but you already know that

If you really had your heart set on a plant for your tank, I would take it back and get something else. I am sure they would understand.

There comes a point in your life when you realize
who matters,
who never did,
who won't anymore....
and who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past.
There is a reason they didn't make it to your future.
