not enough light, low light plants should have about 1 watt per gallon at minimum. could also be lacking nutrients, i suggest root tabs and liquid ferts. im not 100% sure plant number 1 is fully aquatic, could you post scientific name/store of purchase?

better yet, instead of guessing what are you water params? ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, temp. what do you feed, how long are your lights on, whats in the tank so on and so forth.

You should really be dosing ferts, or using CO2 with plants. Flourish Excel may hold you off for now.

And I personally do not think 8000k will work for growing plants, at least well. You want 6500k-6700k full spectrum. Even 5000k is better IMO.

Yes, but if you have T8's, you want tube bulbs and not screw ins. All of the tube lights I have seen at Home Depot are lower in kelvin rating than 5500k.

Change the bulbs as Cody stated. 6500-6700K. is that blue gravel I see? I bet you need iron via either a liquid form or through root tabs. Even though plants will grow in gravel, a better substrate would help; one that can hold nutrients. I'm struggling with Amazon swords right now for the same reason. As soon as the root tab dissolves away, it starts loosing leaves.
