watercress

ooooooooooooooo the plant section,i don't often woble into here................
my question is this,we get watercress in bags here on the salad department
of the supermarket, would i be able to sprout some in either my fish tank,
or the water barrel/nature bucket i have in the garden. ?
thanks.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

Welcome to the plant domain. :)

They'd have to get pretty big...
They grow like bamboo- their roots love being underwater, but the entire plant cannot be submerged.

I'm pretty sure that the leaves should be above water as well. Perhaps grow them in a bucket until they get taller then your aquarium, trim the lower leaves off, then transplant them.
