Yay! This makes me excited to get my new crypts in the mail!! This post made me remember the neato colors crypts can come in so I got some little ones.. willisii I think is the species? I had a couple of the red crypts and although they didn't get too brightly colored they were definitely a different shade of green than anything else in the tank.

Thanks!

I'm anxious to see everything grow =)

It's amazing to look at pictures that are 6 months old and see just how much difference there is.

Hey Geo, I know this is off topic, but what substrate are you using? It looks really nice

Play sand from Home Depot. Less than $20 to cover an entire 6 foot tank ;)

YES! Your tank has been a joy to watch - it's filling in so nicely, and so FAST! Especially considering the debacle with the crack and switching to a new tank. Amazing...

Your tank looks great. You might try a nice thick planting of sagittaria subulata (narrow leaf) toward the right rear corner. Planted thickly, they grow tall and with narrow leaves. Moderate lighting, kind of a heavy feeder.
