Volcanic Planted Substrate

Anyone have experience with this stuff?? I like the color, purpose and size but after using Flourite, I'm a bit skeptical. Any words of wisdom?

I'm thinking I might want to mix it 50/50 with sand substrate since it's too expensive to do alone.

I too have used Flourite but was unimpressed. I currently use EcoComplete for planted aquariums. Any product is going to have to be a real good one to get me to change. Volcanit is high in iron and would leach in a planted tank, a good thing.
