Using window screen mesh to make java moss wall?

Saw a few java moss walls, and figures id give it a try!

Can I use window screen mesh? I've got a whole roll of it, it's made of fiber glass, and it seems clean and free of dust.

If not this, what else do I use?

I would be very carefully of using window screen. Some of them contain aluminum and lead.

I have seen some people post of using a nylon scrub pad that is free of chemicals and looks like a hair net. Basically a plastic net that looks similar to a window screen.

You can buy plastic screens in the sewing/craft section of hobby stores that work well.
I think they're sold for needlepoint.

have you ever gotten into fiberglass, yourself? its excessively irritating. it may be safe but if its not you're in trouble.

Why is it irritating?
i looked it up and it says nowhere about it containing lead or leaching chemicals.

Heh, theres nothing like running around swinging a stick only to have your hands start burning. Then to look at them and see them absolutely glistening from all the little glass fragments. Ugh!
