Can I cut the tips off my Vallisneria or will it cause the whole leaf to die?
The ends of mine have gotten a bit ragged and they dont look very nice anymore. I tried looking it up but I've gotten conflicting information on it. Any one with personal experience?
I have always been told to NOT cut the leaves as it will cause it to melt. I have jungle vallisneria now have had the smart plants for over a year and a half now. When the leaves get too long or algae on them I personally cut them. Have never had the plant die or the leaves. I just cut my the other day cause they were like 7'+ and all tangled up with each other. They also had algae.
no worries, as someone who is fluent in typos, I've become quite adept in knowing what people are trying to say
