Are there any blooming aquarium plants?

I have a 10 gallon freshwater tropical tank with full spectrum fluorescent lighting kept at 79degrees and fine sand substrate.

Are there any aquatic plants that bloom flowers that would go well in my tank?

I don't think too many Aquatic plants bloom in their submerged state (could wrong here..) most will when they are grown emersed. I think Anubias will sometimes flower under water through.

Aponogetons will send up a flower stalk.

If conditions are good, and its allowed to reach the surface, bacopa will sometimes flower.

I've had elodea bloom as well, vals and sags also flower. but all these flowers are more cute than stunning. lol~
pennywort flowers are small but interesting, if grown floating you should see flowers in no time :) I've also had lindernia poking above the surface giving me small white flowers with purple highlights. many rotala species will give small yellow flowers if allowed to reach the surface.

I think banana lily flowers are also yellow~ or was that another lily? lol

Anubias also will occassionally send up a spathe~

I've had various Echinodorus flower, along with floating Frogbit, and those other plants mentioned like Anubias, Aponogeton.

Except for the ferns and mosses, all of our aquarium plants do flower, in their natural state, but as someone mentioned they may rarely do so in the aquarium. Some require emersed cultivation, others need brighter light (which means CO2 diffusion and higher nutrient supplementation).
