22 gallon and 75 watts, medium to medium high light. To determine what you are actually at put your tank dimensions in HERE.

Did you go with compact flourescent or NO flourescent? Remember they are different for the chart so make sure you look at the right one. I know someone who didn't and actually had extreme high light on their tank and wound up with the worst algae bloom I have ever seen. I used the chart to decide on a fixutre ofr my 10 gallon tanks, which is a standard shop light flourescent fixture with 2 bulbs. I have 80 watts now over 2 tanks and I have very little algae growth and can most plants short of the most light demanding ones all be it some grow salower than I would like.

Keep asking questions, is the way I learned and it kept me from making some the the bigger mistakes that I have seen other make when messing with higher light.

another point is they are not as effective as normal fluorescent set up. a lot of the light is lost be design.

Oh, and each light has 1,500 lumens.

It's in between high, and very high.

medium light. i think my 55w bulbs are getting more light into my 20 gal then those others.

its different because these lights are not efficient as others. its not the same. they are good but you have to take account some of the other factors.

I already have the lights I want. 23 watt Day Light fluorescent. I have 3 light slots. It comes out to 3.1 WPG. That's considered recommended.

Each light contains 1,500 lumens.
