My 180g has a HUGE Amazon Sword dead in the middle. It must be all of 24" tall, leaves break the surface. It also happens to be a female and the mother of all my smaller, well some are still small, sword plants. It is just a monster. I have some of her offspring around her. For color, I added red rubins, bronze and red crypts, some red leaf ludwigia(in bunches), and some giant val along with alot of wood. This is a black water tank and is heavily lit, including LED moonlights, with CO2 injection. Substrate is Eco-Complete. Filtration is to the heavy side, somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000gph. I also use a ugf with reverse flow powerheads, helps out with easing soil compaction and keeps detritous from settling on the bottom.
