SA order

I know I am totally crazy. I have no room for all the plants I just ordered from Sweet Aquatics.

BTW I feel like they are out of stock a lot more since we've been giving them such high praise on this forum! I'm gonna start bad mouthing them just to get my stock!!! JK Anyway I know the interesting stuff runs out quick, and especially the red stuff.

I ordered all this stuff yesterday:

Crinum Natans

Limnophila Indica
Rotalla Wallichii

Sagittaria Subulata (Dwarf)
Water Wisteria (Hygrophila Difformis)

I guess whatever I don't have room for or I can't use I'll just give away : ( Or I'll just replace other stuff. Another : (

But overall, : )

That's quite the list of plants. Well you said you wanted to rescape the puffer tank, no excuse not to now.

Mary said that they were flooded with orders a couple of weekends ago. I e-mailed her about holding my order because the tank hadn't cycled and she was grateful.

It's all Angels fault, lets blame her.

What size tank are you rescaping with all this?

All the Crypts & Java Ferns are rather lower lights plants - You don't have the high end burner bulbs on that tank any more do you - Just checking
The Rotala.....Lemme tell you I started the 45g with maybe 2 small bunches now the 45g is covered in it and I have more then I need right now so that stuff grows real fast

So essentially you wanna blame me for telling you about a good plant place and make your tank look as pretty as it does now? Tssss

No, blame you for telling everyone else and running them out of plants.

oooh you grabbed some linmophila! nice choice, but man it need light on every piece of it or you end up with limnophia leave EVERYWHERE!!! and it can plug a little filter inlike a day. (learned this on the 5.5) and consequently lost some shrimpers to it.
but it is beautiful, lemme tell you!

Well, let's just say that I have zero room for any of it, but it's been so long since I ordered from them that I was just succumbing to my addiction. My whole 75 was just scaped last weekend using FREE plants from local plant club folks, even got some nice red and mini tiger lotus, lots of nice java fern varieties (some i ordered more of), lots of crypts, and more. All my tanks except my puffer tank are heavily planted (that one is too but the plants are not doing so well of late, not sure why). SO Honestly I have no idea what to do with all those plants. Just continue to deck out my 75, replace some in my other tanks.

So I thought you (Nat) had rotala indica? This rotala looks a little different. My indica is actually really weak at the top and has lots of shoots coming from the bottom. I've read that some plants respond this way to inconsistent water conditions, which that tank does have inconsistent conditions. Anyway, we'll see what happens. I might totally rescape my puffer tank. I'm just crazy that way. You know I can't sit still.

Nice list! :) I really love my crypts so far. I notice you got a lot of em! :)

I just got them a couple days ago and planted them...I absolutely had no room for them so I literally squeezed them in where they fit, plus gave away some water wisteria, rotala something-or-other that is really hard to grow (so I figured I'd probably kill it) and s ome glosso and extra large java fern. I'll try to take some pictures of my 75 today...after I move some fish in there so it can finally start cycling. Thanks for asking for pics...it will motivate me to actually take some.
