rust looking spots on anubias

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and I am hoping someone can give me some input. I have a newly cycled (fishless) 10 gal aquarium that I am wanting to put 1 Betta in. It is planted with anubias and has been set up approx. 8 weeks. It cycled 2 weeks ago, I did a water change and was going to add 1 betta today. Parameters are spot on. My question is that I have been noticing red/brown rust spots on the leaves of my anubias and rocks. They wipe off, I thought it was diatom but am not so sure now as it appears more rust colored than the brown diatoms algae. I was dosing with "Flourish" but changed to Easy Green by aquarium co-op. The rust spots started appearing in small numbers before this change. I do have a rock (passed white vinegar test) in there that my LFS said was okay to put in and I can't seem to find, after searching the net, exactly what this rock is. It is white with flecks of Mica and appears quartz in nature. Does anyone know/think this could be causing rust? I have 6 total aquariums and none of the others have this rust and this one is the only one with this rock. I don't want to add the betta if this is in any way dangerous to it. I apologize for the lengthy post, I have only been doing planted aquariums for approx. 1 year! Any help would be appreciated!
