Well, after the move and having my tank looked after by a couple of freinds for two weeks without a water change, co2, nutrients or anything my tank was in a sorry state, plants eaten badly and so on.

I have now got it set up again and am going for a completely different look. The left hand side is done and being kept as is, im going for an Amano look but with cover provided by water sprite. The right hand side is what is left of the plants (bad leaves taken away) just to keep the tank cycled until I get all the Riccia I need.

So watch this space for a new and improved Cornish Circle :)

Pics to come as I dont have an Internet connection set up in the new home yet, posting this from work.

Oh and I ordered some new lights http://www.iquaticsonline.co.uk/aqua...g-pendant.html

and got a regulator and am going to pick up a co2 extinguisher at some point. Managed to get all the ferts I need as well so I reckon I am ready to go again within the next few days :)

Oh if anyone lives in Southampton in the UK I have two YoYo loaches and a Flying Fox to give away if you want to give them a good home.

Well this is the poor state my tank looks in now :(

Have actually added some more plants since I took these but not got a pic yet. Thought I would add a pic of the lights and my new regulator too though.

Ok so I have completely rescaped now. I have had enough of plants related to swords and have got rid of them completely. They eat far too many nutrients and I can never get it right and they always look brown or have major holes. So I got rid of them and decided to get some HC, Glosso and a couple of others that I cant remember the name of but will add them (I kept the name cards this time) if anyone wants to know.

I have upped my bubble count to 3 per second and this seems to compliment the amount of light I have in there now as everything is bubbling away nicely. I did a massive 70% water change to get rid of that scum (I belive that was an overdose of potassium) and it all seems to look good.

I have gone for a simple looking scape this time and I hope to have the floor covered quite soon. I will probably add and change bits about as things grow and get the scape to progress but here is how it stands at the moment. There is a bit of BBA on some of the leaves but this will be picked out and I have found a nice tonic that gets rid of this :)

Also sorry for the quality but again I onpy have a phone to take pics with.

Hi Jay,

As I said above I had my mate look after my tank for two weeks and it just melted away. Then once I built it back up again and got rid of all the deadness it just wasnt growing as well. So I decided to do away with anything amazon as they chew nutrients.

So as it is it will be bushy again but I am going a bit cleaner, a bit tidier and with al ittle path to split the sides up. We will see how it goes. ALthough I seemt o have the light/co2 balance right.

Still got a film on the water surface though even after a 70%, I think I must have overdone the fertz that one time. Still, slow but sure, im sure it will come together!

I might be doing the same as you soon, jimi. All of my plants seem to do just dandy except for my swords, even with the aragonite to bump my hardness and ph up. What all plants do you have growing now?

I have never gotten baby tears to grow... I plan on buying a CFL coralife light though off craigslist and give them another shot, because I forgot to change the Co2 on my tank and hello pounds of algae so might have to restart it.

Yeah im having a hard time with them too. I have plenty of light, 3bps co2 and am feeding but they seem to die quick, although it might be because of the BBA i have in the tank which im trying to get rid of.
