I did get some duck weed, a penny wort, and water sprite to add to two of my other tanks. The owner gave me the duckweed. He is also going to order me some dwarf corys to add to a tank I have.
Amanda, a suggestion (or two) on the dwarf corys. Make sure the tank they are going in is established (minimum 2 months running). They will settle in much better, believe me.
Second, when they arrive at the store, I would not choose them for several days, preferably a week after they arrive. Corys do not like being shipped [I imagine no fish does
] but corys can be hard hit by shipping. They are highly susceptible to ammonia and in fish bags this is obviously high. I have many, many times seen tanks of corys arrive in fish stores and within a couple days many (sometimes even all) of the corys are dead. This is one fish I would never buy immediately after it has come in. I speak from sad personal experience. And the dwarf species seem even more sensitive in this respect.
