plant trimming

my combia are growing like weeds they are almost at the top of my water level. it seems at the petsmart were i work once they break the water line little bugs emerge from the tips of the plants. i would like to avoid this unless this is normal and my fish will eat them. if it is a bad thing can i just trim the plants and replant the tops that i trim off?

The runner will eventually sprout roots, then you can snip it and put it in the substate. I would clip the caboma and put the new in the substrate.

There comes a point in your life when you realize
who matters,
who never did,
who won't anymore....
and who always will.
So, don't worry about people from your past.
There is a reason they didn't make it to your future.
