Question Plant ideas for a 36 gallon

hey guys!

I recently got a 36 gal tank and would love to get a few plants in there. Can I get some ideas!!

what type of lighting are you using? using any co2?

not familiiar with led lights at all, but some low light plants to look at would be swords java fern and i think wendetta or soemthing like that all low light starter plants

What LED system is it, that will make a difference whether you can even handle plants or not. Some are very low output and are really only for viewing light.

Check the link in my signature, that is my thread outlining what plants I have tried with an LED system.

The shotgun approach to a planted tank with an LED fixture

Small scale nitrogen cycle with a jar, water and fish food; no substrate, filter etc

Now that the lighting is known, have a look at the plants in our profiles. Second heading from the left in the blue bar across the top of the page takes you to the fish and plant profiles area. Plants are arranged according to how they grow, and each has a photo or two. Light requirements are indicated for each.
