Plant Care

I have 2 live plants in my betta's tank and i know the plants don't really need it but i feel like i should give them some of that aquatic plant food stuff but i want to make sure that its not going to hurt my betta or the black mystery snail in the tank.

thanks

What kind of plants are they? We'd need to know this before we'd advise about any sort of special care. Some plants are completely fine with literally being thrown into a tank while others need fertilization, CO2 and other types of special care.

Nice looking tank. If those are some sort of swords or java fern, then fertilizer will definitely help them grow faster. Whether or not they *need* fertilizer to survive is a different story. They may, since you've only got the one snail and a betta in that tank (i.e. you don't have a very big source of natural plant food). I keep my tanks a little more stocked than that so I've never had to worry about fertilization, so I'm no expert on fertilizer toxicity in snails. I'm sure someone else here will know, though.
