| || | Peculiar Plant ID
Okay I have had this plant in my yard for several years now. It is VERY hardy when I keep all but downed. When we moved to Texas I dug it up and took it with, and then back to VA again. It has survived in soil, sand, mulch and gravel.
I have take it to a few of the nurseries with no luck ID'ing it. It occurred to me the other day as I was tending my partially submerged swords that perhaps it is something closer to aquatic. The previous owners here had fish for a while and I recall them saying they dumped the tanks ("fish and all") in the yard when they gave it up. I do have to keep it watered constantly, and trim it back at least once a month. There have been no daughter plants and segmenting the root system has been unsuccessful as well.
ANYHOW, I was hoping maybe someone recognizes it. Or maybe it's just a lost lonely plant.
