Wink Ordering plants for new 16g tank...

I've got my new 16 gallon tank setup yesterday! Using some kind of black with black water substrate (CaribSea Eco-Complete 20-Pound Planted Aquarium, Black). Water has some of bacteria starter (bacteria was also in the substrate). I'm ordering plants so I can get them planted this weekend, no fish for a while though. What do you think about my choices? I'm really new to this.

Here's what I'm thinking, tried to find plants that didn't get too high:
Java Fern x 2 (Bare Root)
Red Flame x 2 (Bare Root)
Dwarf Sagittaria x 1 (Potted)
Anubias hastifolia x 1 (Bare Root)
Variegated Japanese Dwarf Rush x 2 (Bare Root)

I think that will be enough. I kind of like the grassy stuff and might get some for my 5 gallon later - my betta loves to hide at night in the fake ones he has now.

The fish I want for this 16 gallon though I haven't completely decided. I am sure about shrimp (cherry and/or ghost) and a couple of snails. Tetras maybe (maybe not). What's big on my mind is a Sorority of Bettas.

Starting to think I have a tad too much. 2 Red Flames probably plenty to cover the back of the tank, maybe just 1 Java Fern instead of 2.

i vote two java ferns. you can actually tie those to your driftwood or alien skull with thread, and eventually they'll just stay on there

Thanks, it's all ordered. Added more Dwarf Sagittaria and also 4x4" of java moss. If I have too much, I'll put itin my 5g tank too. I really like grasses, swords and moss
