Send them one more email telling them if they don't make things right you will dispute the charges with your credit card, that should get them of dead center. Your CC will almost certainly side with you, as long as you're not in the habit of disputing charges left and right.

Give them (the plant place) some time to respond, a couple business days max, if they don't respond in a favorable way then follow through with it, call your CC dispute the charge.

Thanks, everyone. Unfortunately I didnt realize there was a 24h window only, so I missed it... However, I AM going to send photos and tell them I am 100% dissatisfied with what I received.

Bored, it was your thread that actually made me want to file a complaint-- I first figured maybe it was a fluke thing, but realize now that others are having issues and am angry.

I usually love SA, I do-- I even would refer people to them, but I think Im gonna take it back

I might try the other site... I might also give bobs tropical plants again, though TBH, last time I got plants there, they were awful :(

His inverts are wonderful, though, so Ill consider giving a whirl and if there is again an issue, Ill actually bring it up (last time I didnt know any better).

SIGH!

Such bad luck with plaannnttss!!!!

Most times those rules are ment to scare off the meek. Stand your ground. You don't need to be a butt-head about it but don't just take it either. Be curtious and factual, don't "over tell" the story.

Look, the company I work for is "in the business" of internet sales, that's pretty much all we do, so that means 95% if not 99% of our business in done online and is paid by either credit card, PayPal or Google. I've been around the block a couple times on both ends of this argument.

As I suggested earlier, email the place where you bought the plants. Tell them regardless of "their" 24 hour rule you are unhappy with the way the product arrived, state your case in a calm manor and advise them that you plan on disputing the charges. Trust me, they do not like to hear "I am going to dispute the charges".

If you simply state you want to "file a complaint"...good luck with that. Rather tell them "I am going to dispute the charges".

Pew I will at the moment I am waiting for my refund from SA. If I don't see it in the next couple of days I am going to email them again about it. When I do get it then I will order plants again from another site and will let ya know how it goes.

Thanks a bunch. Ill let you know, too- I just sent my email.

n2, I used your advice and told them I am willing to dispute the charges if a solution (refund) cannot be made. I attached the photos of the plants with my email.

Hopefully things will work out. TBH, it hurts a bit-- I ordered from them exclusively, and now its almost like Ive been jaded. :'(

You should get a resolution, or a reaction, in a day or two. Remember with internet stores, Monday mornings are usualy crazy, usually their busiest day, so be patient. They (I know we do) have orders, email inquiries, changes to orders placed over the weekend, etc., etc. that have built up since close of business day Friday so Mondays can be quite hectic

Pew I will say this I had a hard time getting them to answer me about when they were going to ship my plants. I had email them twice about it and that was in the middle of the week. When I emailed them about the status of the plants and how I felt about it they answered me the first time lol but like N2fish says be patient and if you don't hear an answer Monday I would email them again Tuesday morning. BTW the lady that kept emailing me from there was Mary.
