Ophiopogon Japonicus Kyoto Fountain

Ophiopogon Japonicus Kyoto Fountain
has anyone had any luck with this plant, aquatic or terrestrial ?

if received from a LFS, any ideas/steps on getting it healthy again (for terrestrial gardening) if it appears in sad shape in the aquarium ?

from wiki
Ophiopogon japonicus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"It is also grown as an ornamental plant, providing an excellent groundcover. Several cultivars have been selected, including 'Albus' (white flowers), 'Compactus' and 'Kyoto Dwarf' (dwarf forms, not over 45 cm tall), and 'Silver Mist' (variegated, with white-striped leaves). It is often sold as a decorative plant for freshwater aquaria, but because it is not a true aquatic plant, it may flourish for a few months and then die. While hardy to temperatures of about -20 C when dormant in winter outdoors in normal soil, when kept fully submerged it requires water temperatures of 18-25 C. It grows well in full sun or partial shade. Propagation is from side shoots."

Ohhh Mondo grass..... yeah definitely not aquatic. Can't tell ya how to get it grow in pot or in the ground but yeah it will definitely die under water after a prolonged time frame.

i saw that and thought "huh, a lawn of that stuff would be sweet, never have to mow the lawn again"
kinda opposed by not knowing anything about it to take care of it.
