Right off it looked like an anubais flower but the stalk was too long. It could be a flower from some species of Aponogeton. Do you know if the plant is growing from a bulb or not?

Also, it is the plant with the long ruffled leaves right?

After finding this site I would say it is for sure an aponogeton. It gives some good info if you want to get baby plants from the flowers. If you don't then remove the flower stalk immediately or it may die off and not come back.

I am pretty sure you would use the brush on them when you can see the pistol and stamen of the flower. They are the parts that you would see pollen on, usually orange or yellowish.
