so i'm thinking of adding plants to my betta tank its s 15 gallon tank, there are cories and a clown pleco, what is the best beginner plant. i have 2 in of gravel the tank has been running for a about a yr. the ph is generally high i think that is because our water is really hard. any suggestions would be great
How much light do you have, meaning watts. That is important to know before plants can be recommended. There are low light plants, medium light and high
well, i think something like an amazon sword would do fine in ur tank if u want a fairly easy undemanding plant. I ahve mine in 8.0 ph and its doing well. Just make sure u get ferts for it or itll eventually stop growing. Itll survive under high or low light. Otherwise, get a javefern. Those are difficult to kill.
