Hey Guys,
I'm new to the forum so first off I would like to say hello. Im in the earlier stages of my 150 gallon planted aquarium. Since I am new to planted aquariums Id like to hear what you guys have to say. For the most part, I would be getting any type of plant that is too difficult to keep.
I'd also like some advice on stocking my aquarium and how the fish will act with the plants and with each other.
So far I've made a "mock draft" for what fish im planning to keep in the aquarium. The list is as follows:
12 Congo Tetras(Im aware they're not around any of the following fish in nature but I'm hoping they could coexist cause this is an awesome fish)
20 Rummy Nose Tetras
12 Cherry Barbs
6 Angels
6 Yo-Yo/ Pakistani Loaches
8 Pepper Cory's (
2 Tiger Plecos
And finally I would like to have either a breeding pair of Geophagus Red Heads or Blue Acaras Im not sure which would fair better with smaller fish such as rummies
I'll be sure to over filter as I will have 2 FX5 canister filters
