Needle Leaf Java Fern

Yesterday, I bought some Crinum and Anubias. When I put the plants in my tank, I noticed there was one similar to the Crinum, but it was growing from a rhizome. I then remembered that the store was selling needle leaf java fern next to the Crinum. Is needle leaf java fern rare?

Everything happens for a reason, but the reason isn't always good.

I've never seen it for sale in a store. I've only seen the standard java fern and the lace variety.

My LFS sells it. It's just like a dwarf version of a normal java farn. Not much more valuable than java fern and equally difficult to kill.
