Need advice on plants

I went to my local petstore today I got a green canilina, and two other plants that I cannot figure out what they were and they did not know themselves. I would never go there for advice on fish but I new I wanted live plants and seeing they are from the same water source mine is I figured that it would be ok to get them. Well now that I got home checked for snails and snail eggs and I found alot of them. I am wondering if I made a mistake getting plants that I cannot know the needs of. I have looked in the plants species that are posted but cannot find them there. I do not have away to post pictures so any other suggested would be useful. I was hopeing that they would help if I made a mistake when I moved my tank and started a mini re-cylce with amonia. Now that I have read more on plants I might of made a mistake.

welcome to the forum ^^

well live plants in my opinion are much harder to care for than fish lol. before you purchase live plants, its good to research the plant to see if your aquarium conditions might be oppropriate . do you have anymore info are tank conditions? like size of the tank? wattage?

Can you post photos of the plants? I've not heard of "canilina" and am skeptical it may be a terrestrial plant.

By the way, welcome to Tropical Fish Keeping forum.

There is no such plant as canilina. Not even terestrial.
Here is a plant catalogue , you will find your plants there IF they are really aquatic plants.

I expect nothing. I fear no one. I am free.
Excuse my bad and rusty english but i did not have your luck to be born or to live in a country where the main language is english.
P.S I am not rude, i just hate stupidity and act accordingly.
