i havent changed anything about my tanks, just vacuumed the rocks...the moss is now turning brown where i have it tied to the driftwood (loosely) all of it near the wood is getting brown...the rest of it is green. in the other tank it did the same thing,...turned brown and all died. what am i doing wrong? ill test the water in the morning...ideas would be appreciated.
Keeping it trimmed will help. When it starts to turn brown, remove the brown parts and reattach. Potassium and magnesium will help some and more light will won't hurt.
i have experience the same thing with riccia fluitan. if left untrimmed or if you tie them up thick, the light doesn't penetrate to that area and it will rot.
what i did is i retied everything and tied only a thing layer of riccia. [/u]
