Maybe the rubber will float if you put it in water. If not I would toss the soil and start over. Id not put rubber in my tank. I'm not 100% though, it might be ok.

The rubber doesn't float, unfortunately. Most of it came out during screening. I will pick out the last few pieces by hand. Good thing it is green xD
