Is pennywort a good plant? My fish like to nibble so I'd need something hardy. (Also so I don't kill it.)

Pennywort grows very well but it is tender so plant-eating fish would probably enjoy it. But if the nibbling is more like eating food bits and algae from leaves (mollies, pencilfish, lots of fish do this) it will be fine. It grows quite fast, I find I have to prune it every couple of weeks, so this would probably survive any nibblers anyway.

I'd also suggest plants like various Crypts, Vallis, Pennywort, Hygrophilia....that should hopefully work with the light set up. If you can, get Pennywort, I really would wanna have to say this plant grows in ANY condition, in & outside the water with high or low light, with or w/out fertilizer lol
