Low light plants??

I have a 5 gallon with a 9 W flourescent bulb - what are some good plants that will thrive on low lighting?

It will house two African Dwarf Frogs and I don't believe they are hard on plants at all. They mainly like to just sit on them.

And the substrate will be Eco-complete black.
Thanks.

Actually, thats not too low. You could try java fern and some mosses. Cryptocorynes also work well.

Everything happens for a reason, but the reason isn't always good.

how many gallons do you have, that would make a difference for the lights and plants. about 2-5 watts per gallon. You can find out what plants need what. Liveaquaria.com gives some good info on their plants. Their plants are also very nice, they are the kind that i use.

Fish Tank Size: 29g Saltwater

Stock:

"The Cleaning Crew"
Emerald Crab (1)
Coral Banded Shrimp (1)
Hermit Crab (6)
Turbo Snail (3)

"The Fish"
Blue Green Chromis (2)
Firefish (1)
Tomato Clown (1)

Water Parameters:

Phosphates: .75, pH: 8.3, NO2: 0, NO3: 5, Ammonia: 0, KH: 14, Calcium: 370

I reread the post. For sitting, I find my fishes like Anubias leaves. It is a low light and hardy plant that shouldn't be planted in the substrate.

Everything happens for a reason, but the reason isn't always good.

Java fern, java moss, crypts, and anubias should all do well.

20 gallon long: 3 adult Neolamprologus similis + about 11 fry of various ages; low light planted tank
20 gallon long:2 freshwater dwarf puffers (Puff Puff and Poofer); medium-light planted tank
10 gallon: 1 male betta named Wormy; low light planted tank
10 gallon: 1 male betta named Dante; low light planted tank
2, 5.5 gallon tanks that are currently empty (I see more fish on the horizon )
