MAJOR PROBLEM AVERTED..

While I was sitting back admiring my new tank.....i noticed, somehow the tank/stand have become unlevel.....it sits forward almost a quarter of an inch!!!!

I'm in the process of draining my tank about 40% so i can lift it while the wifey tries to get some shims under the front....

I have no idea how long its been sinking into the carpet, but I am really, really glad I caught it before I came home to 55G of water and dead fish..

I hope its not to late, no leaks as of right now.....I think I caught it before it become a major problem....

Holy **** Update us when you're done with the work; sure hope you can get it worked out & leveled again just be sure to cross check with the level in the end that its real level.
Is that stand sitting flat on the ground meaning non these lil plastic feed things on the corner of the stand? And/ Or does it sit so far back that you hit the carpet strip that's omn the wall so it'll rase up your back there?

That's a scary thought right there

it's still draining...need it to be as light as possible..I think it just needs a shim because over time think i just sank into the carpet and maybe dented the sub-floor underneath...

I'll take before and after pics....it's scaring me, I am so friggin glad i caught it...

whhhaaattt - dang man you better check your floor cause if its denting/ tilting the tank like it is now.....you may wanna check into extra support down there before your floor is gonna give in over time on the tank's weight!
Cause seriously if it was the carpet getting flattened out ONLY then it would flatten it out the whole spot where your tank is at not only on one side; I think that stuff would scare me plenty enough to do a super all-around check up now.

Gosh what a IMPROVEMENT!!!!!!! Wonderful I'm loving it a LOT and the plants you chosen will fill that tank out real nicely too. Love the DW shapes too....All in all job very well done there Johnny!!!!

And I'm glad to hear your floor is stable after all.....I was already picturing stuff like 30yrs old single wide trailer with half rotten floors and a 55g sinking through it - Am I happy to hear you're safe there!!!!

I'm pretty sure everyone on this forum will give them an A+! they are great!!!

I'm still trying to figure out a schedule for the dosing of the liquid fert.
Yeah, I seem to see that name pop up over and over:) Problem with that is, I live in Canada so no SA shipping across the border :(

Hmm, Pep, maybe PM Byron. Maybe he knows a reputable online plant dealer in Canada.
