well the a good flow could also keep the gunk out of the fine leaves

Super glue is inert so it won't leech nasties out. As soon as it touches the water it goes hard and turns a white color. I've been told that super glue gel is the best as its only a 10 second cure time so there is no waiting !

Huh! Wonderful! I've been trying a lot of ways to make interesting plants, and it's great I can use superglue!

Yep , I just got some cholla wood and glued weeping moss to the top making it look like a palm tree !

I've glued anubias , java fern to pieces of driftwood and rock. After a while the root attaches to the rock anyway

Yeah I don't see why not, hornwort works with glue so It should. Just try a stem and see .

I always use the green tape made for taping plants to stakes, narrow as possible. It's flexible, strong, and green enough to look natural from a distance. it can also be removed easily and replaced if necessary.
